Wow! I am just in the midst of trying to find a new doctor after meeting this elbardisy...not even going to refer to him as a doctor...he hasn't earned it! This is one guy who thinks he's a gift to his patients...thinks he's God! I've never met a more arrogant, rude, incompetent so called professional in all my life! He should be banned from practicing medicine because all he does is prescribe medication. I've reported him to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba, but unfortunately it has to come from my mother who is her family physician and this elbardisy was very intimidated by my presence in the room and questioning him. He wouldn't talk to me afterward and told me to be quiet. I will never ever allow my mother to see this man again. My poor mother has medications up to her eyeballs and most are not needed. I would advise all the comments to flood the College of Physicians and Surgeons and get this man out of practice. Their email is cpsm@cpsm.mb.ca

The new receptionist is very kind and very beautiful! She goes above and beyond to make sure that patients have what they need and she's very knowledgeable. The Dr. was very short and condescending with me, seems to know what he's talking about but I can't honestly say that I will go back to this doctor again if I can avoid it. On top of how he speaks to his patients, he was also disrespectful to his receptionist in front of some people waiting at the front desk. You can be smart and successful without being a decent human I suppose!

dr.e is a competent doctor and has always arrived at a good diagnosis. that said, i'm an ex nursing student and usuall know what's going on in the first place and can tell him. he is never, EVER, on time. usually i made an appointment and it was cancelled because of an emergency surgery. fair enough. we'd reschedule.. 2-3 times... if you ever had an urgent issue forget it. he is a fine anaesthesiologist (i can vouch for that part) but he shouldn't bother being in general practice. you can't be in two places at once, and he's never in the clinic. i switched doctors and notice he has a new receptionist, which is good because the former receptionist was incompetent, rude, and ignorant.

Dr. Elbardisy should stick to anesthesia, as he is obviously more comfortable with unconsious patients. He may be competent, but his communication skills are terrible. He never fails to deliberately belittle patients. He is arrogant, and obviously feels patients are beneath him.

All the stories I have read about him are sooooo true! I had to go to him about 10 years ago after Finding out I had diabetes and a whole slue of problems. He gave me meds and meds and way more meds. In the time that I was in his care I was on 14 different meds. He even prescribed me Viagra which he thought was more important than my now failing kidneys from being over prescribed certain meds. I have been seeing a new doctor in the city that has cut my meds down to 9 and has an actual interest in my care. I see specialists regularly because of him and I am feeling somewhat better. But maybe there is no coming back from the over prescribing of some meds. I know am having a problem getting my records from him for my current doctor. And don't get me going on the lump sitting at the front desk! His former receptionist was more outgoing and very helpful when I first went to see him. I am not surprised that there are so many negative comments.

Welcome to the world of the absentee doctor. Good luck getting an appointment, his lazy useless receptionist never answers the phone. If you are lucky enough to get thru you might get an appointment a few months from now cuz he spends most of his time working at the hospital. I understand there is a doctor shortage in Selkirk right now, but that doesn't mean shaft your patients until it's fixed. A person that tries to do two things at once, does neither very well. I hope his surgical patients are getting better treatment than his practice.

Not the best doctor needs more experience and needs to be more on time and a receptionist that answers the phone and the answering machine doesn't come on a dozen times and doesn't really give a hoot.q
