Dr James Sujiyama has been my family Doctor for over 35 years,his knowledge,skill,judgement and care for patients is phenomenal. I will really miss having a Doctor with such a high level of competence in all aspect as related to his profession. Enjoy your retirement Dr Sujiyama. I thank my lucky stars that 20 years ago someone told me that Dr. Sugiyama was opening up his practice. I now have my two kids with him as well. The doctor is caring and empathetic. Even helped over the phone on his own cell phone. Calls back. Makes sure my prescriptions are called into the pharmacy. And they don't charge me for any little extras. I wake up in dread that he is probably going to retire some time very soon....

Dr. Sugiyama is GREAT DOCTOR, now if only many more doctor were like him!

One of the best doctors in Toronto. Jim treats patients like people, and knows his stuff. If he weren't so busy I'd tell everyone to go to him. Also the entire staff at the taddle creek christie office is amazing, especially Nurse O'Neill

I'll start off by saying that this review is not enough . A doctor like Dr.Sugiyama comes by only once in a lifetime and if you are blessed to find him keep him, never let him go. All you need is one visit with him and you wont want to see anyone else. I've been trying for 12 years to get my daughter to be his patient but he is always fully booked, that shows just how loved he truly is - Dr.Sugiyama is compassionate, understanding, caring, loving, he sees people - you feel heard, seen, understood when you see him. He is there for you , he wants to see you succeed. He is simply the greatest. He will never let you down- he cares so much- you just feel so well cared for and I promise it makes a difference in your life.

My family has been patients of his for well over 32 years as that is my age. Always willing to help, goes above and beyond, and legitimately cares about his patients, even outside of just their medical well being. Highly recommend!
