My father is dead needlessly. In Aug,my dad's blood pressure, heartbeat, cholesterol,&diabetes were all under control. He started having issues breathing&fluid started building around the heart. He developed arrhythmia,&went to Dr. K.Dad would hear nothing of seeing another doctor for a second opinion, sure that Dr. K was the best,by to reputation.Dad deteriorated in a matter of weeks.During visits to the office,he was seen by mostly the nurses, almost never the doctor, who pumped him full of diuretics&sent him home. His legs swelled to near splitting,he could barely sit upright.2 days before he died,we again brought him to the office. He didn't see the doctor. The nurses gave him an IV&sent him home,as he was scheduled to receive a pacemaker,3 weeks after an echo had shown he needed one.The morning of his surgery, weawoke to find him dead in his bed.My father was in distress for a long time.Dr. Kilpatrick neglected him.He has too many patients&relies too heavily on his nurses.Find another doctor.
