Horrible experience. Very harsh in tone and egotistical.

When my son was four, his pediatrician referred us to Dr. Diller. My son was showing signs of ADAH, and our goal was to gain tools to help him deal with this throughout his life. After taking Dr. Diller's advice, and making some adjustments at home, our house became a much more relaxed environment. Rather than feeling Dr. Diller was "blaming" my husband and I for the stress in the house, we knew that we needed to adjust some of our comfortable routines in order for our son to be successful. Our son is now in sixth grade, and we have checked in with Dr. Diller ever year over our guy's school career. As he has grown and changed, so has our approach. Dr. Diller has been an important part of our son's success and happiness. When I hear people refer to any doctor of "blaming," I feel that parent is defensive, and not fully understanding the role of the entire family unit when helping a child who is struggling. It's not about blame, it's about success for the child.

Dr Diller was fantastic. He helped our family in a way no other doctor had and I appreciate his expertise to no end.

terrible experience. Very critical of parents, misdiagnosed child--said nothing wrong with child, parents and school were "too nice". Turns out my child has severe adhd and multiple learning disabilities, but Dr. Diller said all was fine with him when clearly not the case. Also shared condidential information about us to another patient that we happen to know! Abrasive and unprofessional.Wasted lots of time and money with him.

We suspect our school aged child has Asbergers and Dr. Diller was our first step. His personality was offensive and tended to blame Mom excessively. He made our school problems worse and insisted on being the central focus of everything. After 2 visits, he was overly and strongly opinionated and offered nothing constructive to actually help. He just complained about the school. We are actually thrilled with the school! He had no staff and every visit was this ordeal about the billing even though we were insured. He was obsessed with the co-pays. Overall, he was a waste of time and a headache.

Dr. Diller has been an invaluable resource for our family. He taught us how to be our own problem solvers when faced with the daunting challenge of working with a public school system that wanted to label our daughter's off-task behavior as ADHD and pressure us into medicating her. He taught us about the intricate interplay between the school system, the pharmaceutical industry, the medical field, our own family dynamics, and ourselves as unique individuals within a complex society. This provided the framework for developing a viable skill set that would serve us well through the initial crisis and well beyond. Dr. Diller was the only doctor we could find that did not use the "evaluate, medicate, vacate" approach to our problems. Instead, he motivated us to tap into our own resources to become solution-oriented in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. It was the hardest work I have ever done in my life, but Dr. Diller was there for our family every step of the way.

We recently saw Dr. Diller regarding our school-age son who has diagnoses of Asperger Syndrome and ADHD and has been in treatment for many years. My family is struggling with many issues (another child has learning disabilities, marriage has been severely strained) but we are good, caring parents trying hard to improve the marriage and help our children with their respective issues. Dr. Diller was highly offensive, essentially blamed us (especially mom) for our children's problems, and offered no solutions. He is very uncaring and frankly, a terrible practitioner. He should stick to writing and tv appearances where he can do less damage.

Mr. Diller has been running high relative to his book on ritlin use. My experience with this individual was greatly dissappointing. I caution those seeking help with their young ones to do so elsewhere.
