Dr. Steffler is okay. He is pretty outspoken. If you are in severe pain though, don't go to him expecting to get any pain medicine whatsoever. You could be in excruciating pain not even able to walk, he doesn't care. He will not give you anything other than say to take tylenol or advil. He will try to get you in for an epidural but doesn't care if you are in pain for days at a time having to miss work while you are waiting to get in for said epidural. Sure, there are people who abuse pain meds, but for those who don't and have a week to wait before getting an epidural, that can leave you in complete and total misery when your pain is a 10/10 on a pain scale, and to know your doctor doesn't care how much pain you are in is depressing...how can you leave your patient in pain for a week not caring whatsoever if they get any relief?
