This man was born to a medical family and he like his family was a great and good man and Dr.Born Northampton UK.

He was the best Doctor I have ever had. He was so compassionate and truly understanding of mental illness. I wish I knew.

18 years later I have not forgotten how awesome Julian Raphael was as mine and my sons Doctor. I googled him today to write a long overdue review and was sad & very sorry for his family to read that he has passed. He was exceptional, always made my son laugh and really brightened the dreaded doctor visits...A genuine person, never treated u like a number. I've had my fair share of doctors and specialists all over Canada and no one has ever compared to him with wit, personality and humor.

Every time I saw this doctor he absolutely wreaked like cigarette smoke and that was not good for being that I am someone who has asthma, his patient mannerism was appalling and the last time I saw him was when I had a severe migraine, instead of helping me deal with the migraine he gave me Tylenol 4 (which did not help). After taking the Tylenol I ended having to go to the hospital on the advice of the health link nurse whom I was talking to as well as my friend because I was slurring my words a tiny bit and had the migraine dealt with and was prescribed Sumatriptan as well. After that experience I never went back to him again

Dr. Raphael was my familys doctor for 14 years, he was the best doctor ever. He was knowledgeable, dependable, compassionate and most importantly he took the time to listen. He also had a excellent sense of humorand helped me tremendously threw some really tough times. We all loved him and miss him dearly, he was truly the best doctor ever and always will be. No one will ever be able to replace him.

Dr Raphael was mine & my daughter's doctor. He was the very best doctor. We miss him very much.

Dr. Raphael was my dad. He passed away from pancreatic cancer on December 4th, 2013. I came here often before he became ill to read the nice things his patients wrote about him. I found myself on this site again today, nearly two months after he passed, to see what people said about him when he was alive. He was a caring doctor and our family knew this best, as he dedicated so much of his time and energy to his patients. We miss him so much. RIP, Dad.

dr rapheal has been my dr for about 14 yrs, and due to my health i see him about every 45days. he has been very helpful . from help with WCB , treating the severe pain, sleep and other multitude of new symptoms to me. his patient load has grown, and he has a bit less time than in beginning, however, if there are issues needing to be dealt with asap he makes the time. he stands up for his patients and their best health interests. about 2007 i started to develop widespread pain, spasming, immune issues and severe sleep dysfunction. i am probably one of his most complicating and frustrating patients. the new diagnosis and symptoms after 10 yrs of severe chronic spine pain, was fibromyalgia. which was quite severe, and also chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms, often the 2 overlap, + my spinal instabilities, old injuries, osteoarthritis, bone spurs, disc disease, and now after several scans congenital defect found, and stenosis, etc. his care is the best around he is very busy but makes time!

Very good doctor, also very hard to book with him. Takes time to describe things to you.

Dr Raphael is FANTASTIC! My mother who could barely get out of bed six months ago due to very poor care over many years is now happy and healthy and energetic after years of knowing something was very wrong but frustratingly not getting any answers. I also go to see him and he's been wonderful, caring and very knowledgable. This Dr. takes you seriously, listens attentively and takes his time. You don't feel like a number.
