God complex individual who feels that they know everything about everything. Misdiagnosed my mental state and went on to say how it’s my opinion and made me feel invalidated. Avoid her like the plague because she seems to forget that she’s just as human as me and nothing will even make her unequal to me. This snarky woman forgets that humans make mistakes and she is one of the humans who are prone to that, she doesn’t own up to her wrong doings and is just a disgusting person overall. During a psych session with her to get a diagnosis for something she was only worried about the time and made no effort to actually ask the appropriate questions and have me elaborate on stuff. I’m not even sure if her specialty is actually psychiatry because on this website it says that she’s just a regular general practitioner, this would mean I didn’t even get an actual diagnosis from a real psychiatrist who specializes in PSYCHIATRY. Dr sun is a lying untrustworthy nasty human who would have better luck being a bartender. Do better!

We were lucky enough to have Dr. Sun as our family doctor eversince we moved to Vancouver. Very calm and soft spoken, very professional and knowledgeable. Have aways felt my family and I were really looked after very well. Has helped and guided us through simple cases of fever/flu up to more serious diagnoses. Thank you Dr. Sun.

Dr. Sun has been so kind and attentive my daughter & myself during the last five years. I feel so lucky to have stumbled into being one of her regular patients through Carepoint in New West. When my child received a very difficult diagnosis, I found her to be a sympathetic person,, she listened kindly to my worries and offered guidance. Today we went for simple flu shots and she took the time to come in and and speak to both of us at length, asking questions about any medical concerns, taking notes, giving detailed advice. She also was the only doctor in years who paid attention to my complaint about a “female issue” and was quick to send me for diagnostic tests and help me to understand what was going on in my body. Personally, I find her to be patient, never felt rushed in office , which is saying a lot these days! She is knowledgeable about medications for asthma, had helpful suggestions for alternatives when Symbicort gave me side effects. Dr. Sun is trustworthy, definitely recommend her. I feel so relieved that we have access to a good doctor, especially now.

She's amazing very knowledgeable & very good thanks to her I was able to get a referral for a Neurologist which I had been trying to get for a very long time She has become my family Dr & she is amazing Yes she can be a bit quick at times but she does make sure she gives correct diagnosis & correct neeed testings I'd rather always see her instead of some of the other Dr's on staff I'm sure most are great but she makes me feel I'm in good hands Nothing bad to says she's really helped me out I just wish she could become my Family Dr for all my Family Members but she doesn't take new patients often Anyways Thanks Dr.Sun you're truly an amazing Dr 👏 ❤

I've seen Dr. Sun once in my life 10 years ago in a walk-in clinic. I don't remember what she looks like or her bedside manner. But I always remember that i likely owe these past 10 years to her. I walked in for a prescription renewal with no health complaints. I walked out with a referral for a diagnostic d-dimer test for a blood clot. The lab called within hours urging me to go to ER. After hours of examination, xrays and bloodwork the emerge docs said they don't suspect anything, and I am looking healthy. I was referred for additional followup imaging and administered a blood thinner as a precaution, because of that d-dimer Dr. Sun ordered and sent home. By next day I could barely walk or breathe, and was urgently hospitalized. The clot has blocked my lung (it was a PE), as Dr. Sun suspected (with no imaging, bloodwork or patient symptoms to go by). If you are reading this, Dr. Sun, my three-year old son thanks you!

Stay far away from Dr. Sun. In my opinion (based on my experiences with her), she causes harm. Unprincipled, dishonest, disrespectful, no time for you, all about the $, plays on the power differential. Is really leaving no choice but to file complaint with her Governing Body. The worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune of coming in contact with. There's nothing wrong with anyone being mistaken, but she flat-out lies, tells you that you must be mistaken, based solely (or presumably) on the power differential (i.e. she holds the cards as Doctor). She threatens too (see last paragraph, at the end). Unortunately, I can't really comment on her competence level, as everything else that came from her, her actions, her words, her disrespect for you (her focus on the $, and her seemingly lack of time for you), all of it overshadows any competence. I was quite frightened just to speak to her as follow-up (that should never happen), I dreaded it, my condition worsened for that very reason, as I knew the eventual and inevitable harm to me to follow, simply from her manner. That harm to me came true. As regards my experience with her, in my opinion, she violated her hypocratic oath ("To do no harm"). Stay far away from her, is my advice. In my opinion, she causes harm. Mine is not a disgruntled opinion, but that we are all entitled to be (honest) advocates for our own health, not to bow down to her obvious disrespect and lack of principles, and her focus exclusively on $$$$ and her time, not of that as "our health should be her best interest". Yes, of course we as Patient have to recognize system limitations (and that she is busy), I will give that one point to her, and I will not hold her accountable for that, nor should I. But simply put, "Our health is not Dr. Sun's best interest", that is my opinion, and my quote. I am entitled to it. Advocating for our own health requires us to be both honest, and accepting of system limitations (and of course, the truth). But in my opinion, Dr. Sun imposes a third limitation, one which is not justified - that of, do not speak up against her as Doctor, the so-called power differential, or there are consequences to us (as the Patient). Serious consequences to us, as the Patient. In my opinion, and experiences with her, that is Dr. Sun. So, in my opinion, and my unfortunate  experiences with her, Dr. Sun caused harm to me (and unfortunately, by extension, she ended up causing harm to others, through this). And by this, through it, or as a result of it, it is my opinion that Dr. Sun violated her hypocratic oath ("To do no harm"), as regards my case. Also in my opinion (based on my experiences with her), that in itself is also a threat, again in my opinion, as she threatened my well-being - in my opinion. Dr. Sun perhaps made a late attempt to  correct. But, in my opinion, that late step has largely come too late, to prevent significant consequences to me. As I said, anyone can be mistaken, and can be forgiven for it, but Dr. Sun acting late to half-correct, well that has come with significant consequences to me. It gets much harder to forgive that. And that, in my opinion, is not the point of (or reason for) a Doctor - to allow significant preventable consequences to us. She clearly has traumatized me.

Horrible Dr.. Just about money and nothing else, extremely money oriented and super rude. She just cares about seeing more and more patient.
