I had an amazing ID DR for a number of years that has semi-retired and became impossible to get an appointment with so I went on a search for a Dr in a small or solo practice who would be around if I needed her. The other reviews are correct that she has a social/personality disorder she's very hard to read or get any emotion out of, but I've also seen several Doctors from other countries who its impossible to communicate with so I am kind of used to this and can deal with the weirdness. I cannot say enough about her practice in general. I've always been able to get an appointment, her nurses are responsive to prescription requests which is all I really need. If you're looking for someone you dont have to sit in a clinic and can pick up the phone and reach at any time and isnt just out of residency she's it. If you're looking for someone to cut up with or at least show any type of emotion I'd keep looking. Beside that my only other complaint is I always schedule the earliest appointment and she always walks into the building 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start. This is probably by design because she values her time more than mine which irritates me. I guess most people are always running late...I'm not!

I'm sure she is bright but unfortunately, she isn't dynamic enough to think outside the box, which is necessary for an ID doctor at times. Does not appear to keep up with continuing education credits or know latest knowledge on emerging diseases. I hope this changes for her, because she doing her patients a disservice as is. Also, not great bedside manner. Could be something going on with her personally, but the attitude she brings to her work makes it uncomfortable to be her patient.

She came highly recommended. I was stunned when I actually was sitting in an exam room with her. Absolutely the worst initial visit with any doctor in. my. entire. life. She started off by talking down to me about my insurance ("No one takes it. You know that it's like medicaid right? Right?"...well, um. Your receptionist and PA said you took my insurance, that's why I came to see you.) She did't listen to my health concerns or issues. She talked over me, interrupted me and treated me as if the previous doctors who SUCCESSFULLY treated me were idiots (They certainly weren't. They listened to me and had the capacity and knowledge to figure out how to help me. If I still had my previous insurance I'd still be seeing those fine physicians.) She wanted to physically examine me even though I said no, and I finally had to insist she stop touching me. She'd already said she wouldn't help me, didn't take my insurance and wouldn't be my primary doctor so what's with the physical exam? I was with her less than 20 minutes and when I left - with no new knowledge, prescriptions, health plan or even acknowledgement that I might know something about my medical issues - after all I have lived with them for a few years and been treated by other doctors - she made to pay $225. Cash. It was simply a terrible ,and in more ways than one, shocking experience. I'm afraid I cannot recommend Dr. Lukashok. I can only recommend to avoid this kind of non-care and what certainly felt like extortion. If I could give this experience less than one star, I would.

Dr. Lukashok is very smart and really knows what she is doing. She went to a very good college, MIT, proving that she really has what it takes. Although I believed her to be very good I would not take advice from websites like this, it is best to ask the community.

I found Dr. Lukashok to be cold and impersonal. I thought she did a poor job of taking my history, she criticized my previous doctors' recommendations, and overall, she seemed judgmental and callous. Her physical exam style was awkward and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone
