Dr. Gerber is the OBGYN for myself, my mother, and my sister. We have been her patients since we moved to San Diego over a decade ago. I could not be happier with the care I receive from her. She takes extra time to explain complex conditions and has a calming bedside manner. When I received a devastating diagnosis, she made sure to include family and referred me to all the best specialists. I felt well taken care of. I will forever be grateful for her commitment to excellent care.

Our baby was very sick and and we had an emergency and needed help making decisions- Doctor Gerber was on vacation and no other doctors were in the office to guide us or answer our questions- The pregnancy did not make it and Doctor Gerber has not called once to follow up or check on us- This was our first pregnancy and it was a learning experience unfortunately- looking back they basically handed us a bag with various literature and did not explain to us our various options- We are most upset about incomoentent staff, lack of doctors staffed (during daytime hours) and zero follow up- What doctor does not reach out to a expectant mother after a moment of crisis and critical time durning a pregnancy- Feel free to call me if your thinking about having this doctor or office manage your pregnancy-773-724-0069

Pacific Coast Women's Health is discriminating againxt their older patients. After being seen by several doctors at their clinic since I moved here in 2002, I just got a letter announcing they were no longer taking Medicare patients. I am over 70 and this is the most blatant experience I have ever had with age discrimination. They should be ashamed of their new policy.

I really liked her; but after wrong diagnosis not very helpful and just avoided me. Didn't know what to do.

I should have checked reviews prior to seeing this physician. Had a very bad experience; will not be returning or recommending.

Dr. Gerber delivered my baby and I was not properly cared for after my delivery. She took maybe 5 minutes to stitch me up, only to find out later that I had to have internal reconstructive surgery due to the lack of care/repair during and after my delivery. Before delivery I recommended this office and staff to many and now I would NEVER recommend them to anyone after this huge mistake was made.

I'm 48 and I've seen at least 6 gynecologists in my life, and Dr. Gerber is my favorite. The office environment is calming, the staff is professional, and Dr. Gerber has a great "stirrup-side" manner. She presents all of the alternatives and respects your decisions.

I was a new patient when I met Dr. Gerber. She was extremely interested in my concerns and reviewed various treatments. I would never consider changing to another MD.

Gerber was very brief and wouldn't look me in the eye. She didn't seem interested in my complaints but ended up being completely wrong when lab work I insisted on came back showing a problem. Her nurses seem to run the show, as I haven't heard one word from Gerber since I saw her in the office.
