Ratings for Dr. Rajashree KANTHAN
Very rude staff. We had an immensely negative experience with the associate Jennifer during my son's visit in regards to allergy. And Dr.Kanthan was allowing this behavior in her office. I called the office asking for a phone consultation in regards to the allergy developed. Was not given an opportunity to talk to the doctor. In the office had to wait for 45 minutes. When approached Jennifer to ask if the doctor could see us as we were pressed for time, she didn't go to see a doctor and suggested to reschedule. Though 2 hours ago she was the one insisting on bringing my son in to see the doctor. We saw the Doctor eventually, the visit lasted 3 minutes. Very neglectful and disrespectful care. Especially being the doctor's office, one cannot treat patients with such an attitude.
I have recently lost my job and along with it my health insurance.. I was referred to Dr.Kantha by my sister in law. I was hesitant in going because of the money i thought i would have to pay.. The girl at the front desk was very understanding of my situation and made me feel comfortable.. Ive been having headaches and dizzy spells for a month. Dr.Kantha sat with me for over 30mins taking my personal and family history down along with a couple laugh :) she found my blood pressure to be very high and set me up for a follow up visit with in 2wks.. Returning to the office was actually cheaper the second time around.. I was told once you are an established self pay patient the charge is only $50.. Now adays its unheard of paying that amount. Which tells me that Dr.Kantha is more interested in her patients health than profit.. I will recommend everyone to her..
My rating comes from the experience my girlfriend had with this doctor and my personal experience. My girlfriend has been ill for over a month now, she has even been in the hospital because of antibiotics the doctor ordered knowing that her stomach is bothered by the same. She was never advised her as to what she should do to help her stomach the meds. There has never been the sense that the doctor actually cared. Once, when she went to see the doctor, she was asked if she had a fever. She responded "I haven't checked, I don't think so", and nobody bothered to check her temperature. When I finally got fed up with the stories, I went with her to the office. The doctor proceeded to tell her "the last time you were here, you had an ear infection". That was the first my girlfriend was told this. The doctor simply does not care, inconsistent, unknowledgeable, unhelpfull. I've always thought, you have to care enough about yourself or noone else will. This shouldn't be true with doctors
