I have been seeing Dr. Bajzak for several years now. She is by far the best doctor I have ever seen. Not only is she very knowledgeable and always up to date on research, but she is compassionate, kind, and patient. She really cares about her patients and is easy to talk to. She likes to get a whole picture of your health and treats holistically so she will spend a lot of time going over all of your health history and making sure all of your issues are being seen to. The amount of time she takes with her patients is probably why the wait to see her is so long. It can take years to see her, but once you are a patient you get to see her a couple of times a year if you have ongoing chronic issues. The wait time was worth it for me; I would much rather wait for quality care than have a short wait for a doctor who gives subpar care. I have a lot of complex health issues and she has done more for me than any of my doctors have. She is definitely one of the best doctors, or the best, in Newfoundland and I am thankful we have her.

After seeing this dr in October, I was assured that I wouldn’t have to wait long to see her again to get my chronic pain in order. I just called her secretary, and she informed me that I have been put back on the waiting list because of unforeseen circumstances resulting in patients appointments having to be canceled in the previous weeks. I have been waiting three years suffering waiting for someone to help me with the pain I live with. And now still having to wait. Is totally unacceptable! Her secretary is so rude that this is the second time she has left me in tears. I have requested that she speak to dr Bajzak and ask if she cannot see me in the fashion that she has promised, that she send me to another dr who can. Feeling completely defeated. Still at square one 😭

I came into Bajzak's care after searching high and low for a local specialist who knew extensively about severe endometriosis. I'm 31 and had been through multiple surgeries with not-so-great outcomes before I met Dr. Bajzak. I was worried about my constant pain, fertility, and the endo spreading. She hands down was the first doctor to alleviate my fears and develop a full treatment plan that made me feel like I was in control of my health. We got my chronic pain under control, which was a huge weight lifted off my daily life. Now I've moved onto trying to conceive and she's continued to be incredibly compassionate. I'm pretty sure Bajzak is of super intelligence or something - I've not met a medical professional like her before. We need more Women's Health specialists like Bajzak in Newfoundland. Her waitlist is so long because so many of us women need it, but Eastern Health doesn't seem get it.

Dr. Bajzak is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I have complex Endo and she is the only doctor in NL confident enough to take me on. She knows her stuff and from what I can tell is a great surgeon. She will be doing surgery on me very soon and I have full confidence in her abilities. She will tell you if she doesn't think she can do something and all the risks involved and doesn't have the god complex like most doctors. Very down to earth and extremely intelligent.

I've been going to her long time. I finds her really good. I also sujested for other people to go to her.
