Dr Cheema has to be an idiot I had screws placed in my hip as a child I told him I was having pain in that hip he sent me for an X-ray then after getting the X-ray he goes you never told me you had surgery before he sent me to get the X-ray we had just discussed the surgery I had he also spends less than 5 minutes with patients he also sent me to therapy for my knees told me to come back if I was still having the pain after therapy he said nothing about that don't waste time going to him I also overheard him telling the resident Dr I have arthritis in that hip but he told me I was fine I will be seeking a second opinion I can't trust what he said

He needs to learn to communicate with patients, providing necessary information to them. He seems to be under the impression that we are there for him and not vice versa. Spending a few minutes with patients and communicating issues of primary importance to them alleviates serious issues.

Everyone in Dr Cheema's office and in the Xray dept were so nice especially Theresa in Xray, very courteous and helpful, over and above their duty. Dr Cheema was very nice and to the point, no BS.

He's the only orthopedic surgeon allowed to touch me or mine

Shown an X-Ray to a 2 different doctors who said that a surgery is not nesasery . Chema wanted to cut.

Dr. Humayun M. Cheema, MD receptionists was surly, rude, and refused to even consider giving me an appointment when I told her I had had a surgery in 2008 on the Meniscus tibial ligament, she told me the policy, I simply wanted her to know why I had already had trouble accessing the records which she told me I would have to bring, I am here in NJ, the surgery was in Michigan, I kept all of my dat on a laptop that crashed, I am presently homeless and on welfare do you think that if I had resources that I would purposely lie, I just want to have my leg get better. What happen to medicine

Dr Cheema dis not spend the time to look at my xrays. He just sent me to therapy. Almost two years later I may have a broken part... He only looked at a part of the problem.. not the whole problem. He has a great sense of humor but he rushes .

I have been seen by Dr. Cheema for decades. His skill and knowledge in his specialization is beyond compare. Simply put, if you want the best, he's it.

Dr Cheema misdiagnosed my broken wrist. On my first visit he looked at the emergency room ex-rays, could not see any break and suggested "I wait 2 weeks to see if it still hurt." I did so, it still hurt, I went back and only then did he take his own ex-rays. My wrist was indeed broken, but he did nor cast it because he was going away on a conference and would not be available for an additional week. By that time, my injury was 3 weeks in and he said he could cast it then, but that it would greatly interfere with my "lifestyle". It still bothers me 9 weeks after my fall.

The staff is the worst that I have ever encountered. They refused to fax records that another physician required to see my son who was out of state in college. They stated that they did not have time to do this and it would have to wait till a Friday when they do that type of work. I had to pick up the xrays myself from the radiology film library and overnight them myself. Even after I spoke directly to the Dr about the urgency of the problem and was assured by him that it would be done. It was not and when I could the office staff again to follow-up hey again refused to assist me with this and it did not get done. It appears that even the physician cannot direct this staff.
