Ratings for Dr. Seth Kane
I went to Dr. Kane for back pain. He's never on time, and the waiting room is an uncomfortable hour or more. Dr. Kane does not always return phone calls. He has a poor bedside manner, and seems to care less to help. He speaks very clinically, often vague and void of detail and facts that can be easily understood. He offers little encouragement or hope.
Dr. Kane is a great listner and communicates well with his patients. Having had surgery performed by him this was very important and comforting to me. He explains himself very well and is most knowledgeable. His examinations are always with much care and gentleness. The outcome of my surgery was good and I will always thank him for his poise, comfort and talent. In the emergency room he was calm and confident in his ability and made me feel secure with his medical advice. Great bedside manner.
Did ankle reconstruction, make sure right care was sought. Always 100% confident that his opinion medically was accurate. Always feel better after seeing him, staff made sure I was comfortable and was on track. Always recommend him to others. Stayed in hospital for four days, visited everyday to made sure that I was getting better. Didn’t rush into surgery. Good overall.
Wants co-pay in cash only, which I thought was very funny. Charges for all paperwork copies. Is borderline rude, he cuts you off in the middle of a sentence. No bedside manner whatsoever. He seems knowledgeable in his field but the attitude is too much. Staff is as bright as any part-time office worker.
Nice manner. Explains things pretty good. Did knee surgery, minimal swelling, no bruising, bearing full weight the day of surgery. The doctor called me on Sunday to see how I felt. Very rarely does a doctor call you unless you call them first.
