Advanced anatomy for surgery, Advanced Biology for Internal Medicine. 1973-74 Residency, Calais Hospital: cardiology, general surgery, pediatrics, Gynaecology- obstetrics with outpatient clinics. Night and weekend duties, Hospital and Casualty department (emergency). 1976 Standing in for family physicians Preparation of Doctoral Thesis "Airborne Infection". Received with very honourable mention. Diploma of Doctor in Medicine. Private practice Boulogne-sur-Mer. Worked with Dr. Jacques DeBavelaere. He was in 1948, one of the first French physicians to specialize in Acupuncture. Studies in Acupuncture at the "Institut Francais d'Acupuncture" (French Institute for Acupuncture) Paris, France. Diploma in 1978. 1978-84 Private Practice of Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, Marcq-en-Baroeul, Lille, France. 1979 Proficiency courses in Acupuncture and Energetical Medicine at the Medical Academy for Acupuncture in Paris, under the direction of Dr. J.-C. Darras (Dr. Darras, with Professor de Vernejoul and Professor Albarede, reconfirmed the reality of the Acupuncture meridians through the use of Technecium 99m- a radioactive material.) Added to this were 12 other seminars at the medical University of Creteil, Paris. Also other seminars:Jersey (Great Britain), La Grande Motte, Moissac, Strasbourg (France), Vichy (with introduction to thermal therapies), Venice (Italy). (Mr. Maurice Messegue is well known in France for his successes in Herbal Medicine. He has also written numerous books on the subject. 1980-85 Studies and practice with the CEIA (European Centre for Computerised Herbal Medicine) Denice, France. 1980-85 Teacher, lecturer and researcher at the Medical Academy of Acupuncture, Paris.
