I saw Dr. Ludwick several months ago for my severe fibromyalgia, in hopes she would take over the tramadol regimen my psychiatrist had started for me and continue making improvements to my care. She refused to prescribe "any pain medication". I wasn't requesting anything major, and was open to the idea of trying things like muscle relaxants, but she didn't even mention such. On my second visit with her, I brought a peer-reviewed paper from a medical journal about pain medication use in chronic pain patients and how it can actually be beneficial to them, and she refused to even touch it. She then gave me with an ultimatum, stating that I had to get trigger point injections, or go find another doctor. I am a survivor of abuse, including psychological abuse, and was too afraid and confused to refuse. She then did several TPI shots on me, causing me great pain and distress, and then she laughed it off when she was done ("I'm done torturing you now!"). DO NOT SEE HER, SHE'S TERRIBLE.
