Very thoughtful doctor who takes the time to listen and answer all questions

Dr. Kooperman explains things thoroughly, answers all my questions, and is caring and compassionate. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable during high-stress situations and surgery.

I needed to see a gynecologist after getting only mild relief from the recommendation of my primary care doctor. Seeking a consult, I called to get an appointment and could only be seen if I took a chance on a man I had never known or heard about from family or friends. I prayed for a good doctor! I was so blessed!!! Dr. Kooperman treated me with respect, kindness, and sensitivity as he addressed my medical problem which also had affected my emotions and daily life. He made a diagnosis. Told me to see my dermatologist who was treating me for psoriasis. Then clearly told me not to hesitate to call him if I had further questions. He also asked me to let him know how I am doing. He is knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, as well as right on with his diagnosis and treatment!!! The dermatologist confirmed all Dr. Kooperman said. I have recommended him to my daughters and will continue to let friends know we have a great doctor in the new NorthShore University Health System 1000 E Rollilns, Round Lake Beaach area!
