Dr Mokaya took me through my pregnancy, which was very high risk. always available, caring and took time to make me understand what was happening at each stage of the pregnancy. i will definately go back for my next one. Great doctor. KY Sadiki

i went to see dr Mokaya for my fibroids, which i had been having for many years and they had grown vey large. my doctors had told me the only option was to take the uterus out. i was very very distressed. when i saw dr mokaya, he told me, he can do the surgery and try and save my uterus..he gave me hope, no promises. he did the fibrods removal and saved my uterus. i shall be forever greatfull for the care and compassion he showed me. thank you. I don’t know how to feel about him, I first went to his other office in bryanston and the Dr the representing him, didn’t seem to know what was wrong and said I could have asherman syndrome, weeks later went back and she said my uterine lining is ok, I was not satisfied and eventually went to him after suffering a miscarriage. Zero care , didn’t ask if I was on any prenatals or anything of that sort. Definitely the wrong dr for a first timer .. maybe he is just too busy

Dr Mokya has very good bedside manners, and made me feel safe before and after my operation to remove my fibroids. in the ward, the nursing staff was also very helpful. JT

My partner and i went for a consultation since we were preparing t start a family. the consultation was very thorough and he assisted us in understanding many gyno things. 2 months later we fell pregnant. we are very happy with him. KKK

The best in the game, very experienced and does what he has to do. He's thorough, honest and good at his job. He was able to pick up problems in the womb and was very honest about the outcome. I highly recommend him.

Dr Mokaya has been my gynae for my 2 babies. he was always accessible, even on his phone, to allay my many pregnancy anxieties. good gyno, at times too busy. i there will be a third pregnancy, will definitely go beck to him

When we relocated from Upington to Joburg in 2018, i was pregnant and started looking for a gyno to deliver our second baby. so i asked other moms where i had taken my child to play with other children. to my surprise a number of those mums recommended this Dr Mokaya at Sunninghill Hospital because he had delivered their children. i would also recommend him. he delivered our second son and currently seeing him for our third child. A good Doctor. HKM

We lost our daughter at the 20 week mark, a day after seeing Dr Mokaya for the 20 week visit. Wouldn't recommend for first time pregnant women, he is rather flippant for first timers and not thorough as he expects everything to go swimmingly. For a ob gyn, he should know how unpredictable these things are and should be thorough with all pregnancies regardless of age, health condition etc. All the best to anyone who goes to him. Wish your experience is better than mine.
