Im very disappointed in Dr John Pence office closing and his clients not being notified of such change!! SMH something is not right with this!! I WILL NOT stop until I get all the details because when my kids are involved I take this matter VERY SERIOUS!! Would not help me with my son's weight issues, would not check his liver while on medication until I asked. Was late often, and now has closed his doors without letting his clients know! Now my son no longer has a Doctor and needs his medicine.

I have been reading the reviews. My daughter's son was ill a couple of weeks ago. To our disappointment a message of temporarily disconnected was received. She took him to the Medical Center in Summerville and much to their surprise, the staff did not know that he was gone either. My grandson told me that he looked in the window and everthing was gone-should have seen the expression on his face : ) He was a excellent physician. You could tell something was not right back in January. All of the familiar staff was gone and he came in the room after we waited for an hour. This has never happened the entire three years we have been going there. The staff at the medical center gave my daughter a number to call. You may want to call the medical center, hopefully someone can give you a number to call to obtain records as we are trying to do this as well. Wish he had left a note on the window. Task ahead is finding another physician. Be Bless!

Both my children used to go here and both of them loved it! I as well. I was sad to move to Greenville and have to find someone like dr Pence and his staff. Noone could fill their shoes. I just learned of his office closing. This is shocking to me to hear that. I need both of my childrens records from him bc their previous dr here never told me until today that she never received them. Now i have no medical history for them. This could have been prevented 2 years ago had their previous dr here had told me no records were transferred. Now his establishment has closed and seems noone can help me in locating dr pence,his staff,or my children's records. I loved that Dr for years. I dunno what happend but things have seriously changed. The office is NEVER open. I cant even leave messages. His new message when you call if like ten mins of nothing after he talks. He used to be my fav doc but now I just wanna get my kids records and go. BUT i cant even get the records

Dr Pence office is never opened. I want to know why his office closed without contacting his patients at all. Something is very strange about that. If anyone knows anything please dont hesitate to contact me!! Thanks

Don't know what the deal is with his office they are never open. When they are its briefly once in a while. We are looking for a new doctor now. Last week his phone got turned off. When the phone is answered its usually the doctor answering it. He is not the doctor he used to be. Anyone looking for a doctor. Use caution if your planning on going to him.
