Biography

Dr. Asha M Alex is a Rheumatologist who is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She did her medical school and internship in India followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the Southern Illinois School of Medicine. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship from Georgetown University and the DC Veterans Affairs medical center in Washington DC. In addition she is also certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound by the American College of Rheumatology. Her areas of interest include Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis, Myositis and Gout. Her interests outside of work include spending time with her kids, interior design and cooking. Dr. Alex speaks English, Hindi and Malayalam. Languages English Hindi Malayalam
