Dr. Downie is extremely knowledgeable in his field and takes the time to explain, in terms that I can easily understand, my nasal issues. He offers multiple treatment options as well as his professional opinion on which of those options would yield the best results. He is truly a great physician!

Dr Downie is a great surgeon. After years of not being able to breath through my nose, I had surgery to fix a crooked septum. Surgery was a breeze and I noticed a huge improvement in my breathing immediately after waking up from surgery. The nurse in the recovery room even told me that if she needed surgery, Dr Downie is who she'd go with. I couldn't agree more, go see him for all your ent problems, he won't disappoint!!

Dr downie is a great surgeon he always cares to listen to my question and kindly answers. Dr downie and his staff are very nice. I just had a surgery with Dr downie and finally i can breath fine after almost 10 years.

Great surgeon. Long history of sinus infections, and really never could get to a point when I felt well. I had surgery with dr Downie and I feel better now than I have at any other time in my life. He is a good doctor for basic procedures. He knows many things and is very helpful. He doesn't want to go in and just take everything out of you. He takes his time. I had to get these plastic like cylinders taken out of my nose. We did it in his office and he was very nice about this. He didn't rush and said that he would rather spend an hour taking these out correctly than taking 15 minutes and leaving me in pain. Some of my family members also had proprocedures by him and their sinuses are fine. Me on the outer hand has to see another doctor and am still seeing him due to how hard my sinuses are and how bad they are. If he tells yo to go to Dr. Chako for allergies, say NO! Chako is not a good allergist. He didn't check for food allergies and told me I have no allergies. Not even a year later I went to another allergisy and they tested me and found ththat I have 4 allergies.

Downie, himself, is very knowledgable and skilled. I felt comfortable with him from the beginning. After my procedure, he didn't stop by to check on me, which I would have appreciated, but perhaps he was simply too busy with a full day of surgeries and such. His administrative staff, on the other hand, leaves quite so bit to be desired. There was so much confusion that they had regarding pre-op phone calls and files, charts, etc., and they never called me on my preferred phone after asking them to do this numerous times. Additionally, I was supposed to receive phone calls from either his staff or the hospital...at this point, I don't know, and I never did receive this calls. In all, Downie is a good doctor to go to as he knows his stuff and he's willing to share. Stay on top of some of the staff, though, as some of them aren't doing their job.
