Dr. Chudik has treated me for multiple sports-related and other injuries since 2004. Dr. Chudik has performed surgery to repair both left and right torn rotator cuffs due to sport-related injuries (one included a biceps repair). More recently, after a fall, I suffered a complete rupture of a triceps tendon and Dr. Chudik surgically reattached the tendon. Dr. Chudik and his team have always provided the highest level of care during the surgical and post-surgical stages, explaining the procedure and what to expect. Most importantly, there is a high degree of coordination between Dr. Chudik, his surgical team and the Hinsdale Orthopedic physical therapy staff. At five months after triceps reattachment, I have recovered full ROM, returned to normal activities and expect to recover full strength. I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Chudik in the event of a further injury.

Dr. Chudik was honest with his information about surgery. I appreciated the honesty. He did not recommend surgery for my rotator cup and arthritic shoulder because of my age. I will continue with cortisone shots and physical therapy and home exercises. My first visit resulted in no wait and I was taken 30 ahead of my appointment. My second visit not so. I was taken 45 minutes after my appointment time. I guess these things are expected when visiting doctors. That is why I always bring a book!!! I have done a lot of reading in doctors' waiting rooms.

Dr. Steven Chudik has repaired both of my shoulders. He is a very precise and talented surgeon. He has specific protocols depending on the injury and repair and makes sure you do things in order in an effort to give you the best possible outcome for your recovery. I definitely recommend him. He repaired my labrum, rotator cuff, bicep tenodesis, and impingement issues.

Dr. Chudik is a remarkable physician and surgeon, but equally as significant is that he listens, understands his patient's contexts and recommends treatments and procedures that fit his patients' needs, and not his. Dr. Chudik is among the best surgeons in the Chicago area.

Dr Chudik was my second opinion for a complete tear in the rotator cuff. First orthro told me at 63, I should just leave it alone and live with it. Great staff, appointments are on time, explain what he saw was wrong, explain my options and laid out the protocol for rehab. I can say after 5.5 months I am painfree, with full range of motion vs pain lifting a glass up an upper cabinet. Finished with PT and getting ready for a great season of golf. If I had listened to my first orthro I would not be playing.

I recently had rotator cuff surgery by DR. Chudik and I would recommend him for your surgery. He explains exactly what is wrong and how he is going to fix it. He is very professional. His staff is extremely polite and friendly and trust me, I was sent to a different orthopedic surgeon in the beginning and there is no comparison to the treatment I received. You will be in great hands with Dr. Chudik, I promise!

Dr. Chudik has now done both of my ACL surgeries. He makes you feel comfortable after finding out the bad news and really explains what he is going to do and how it will all happen. After my second surgery, we had some questions about things so we called his office and they told us he was out of the office for vacation. He called us off of his personal phone, and off of his personal time to make sure everything was okay. Such great experiences both times, great staff and great doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Chudik.

My second visit to this Dr , waited more than an hour each time to see anyone. I understand Drs being busy , but to leave my place of employment early, and be docked for it , it is completely unacceptable . Please repair your staff that makes appointments .
