There aren't enough good things to say about Miranda. She is incredibly intelligent and empathetic and listened carefully to what I said and encouraged me to explore all facets of the issues with which I was struggling. And yet, there was still an efficiency to our sessions where I felt like we were working toward my feeling better and my having tools to cope on my own. I saw so many therapists over the decades as I struggled with my trauma and she was far and away the best and the only person I will go back to should the need arise again.

I saw Dr. Morris (Miranda) for depression and anxiety, after having really disappointing experiences with 2 other therapists. I was leery about trying again, but a friend recommended her. Anyway, she was great. Very friendly, accessible and genuinely helpful. I feel like she genuinely "gets" what I'm going through, without being too "therapisty." She's empathic and insightful, but also has a sense of humor. Her approach is mindfulness-based, which I like, but it's also about moving forward and making the changes I want to make, even though it's scary at times. Unlike my experience with previous therapists, I actually feel like she's helping me make the changes I want to make. I recommend her highly.
