DISAPPOINTING SURGERY RESULTS This is a long over due review since my BREAST IMPLANT REVISION surgery in December 2024 due to a chronic autoimmune illness that sub optimal results triggered my relapse. My surgery was to remove capsules and ruptured silicone implants, replace them with Allergan Inspira implants closest to my size choice and most important to correct asymmetry of my right breast which was smaller for years and couldn't be corrected at original surgery in 1986 due to the fact my chest was to tight to accommodate any bigger implants. I waited forty years for a revision to finally correct this with Dr. Z. I went into surgery to remind him with a dated and timed post it that said CLEAVAGE and correction of ASSYMETRY for a reminder of my most important changes. Post surgery I did not receive these breast wishes and worse the same implant size was used bilaterally which was unacceptable and emphatically discussed not to occur at all consultations. The reason I got from Dr Z was simply that he had no bigger implants in his office to try so he just used what was there, took the easy way out and put same biggest size he had in both which was definitively what I did not want. I had been told in this type of emergency his rep. would rush over with bigger implants. This of course was not executed and I was lied to. The smaller breast remains smaller like before and both breasts should have had the next size up which was never even tried and is total negligence. My right breast has rippled and dented at the upper inner pole as the pocket created is too big for the smaller implant inserted as I don't have the same rippling problem on the bigger breast. It is like a deflated balloon in the area. He had to see the asymmetry on surgical table as I saw it one week later when office photos were taken so I knew I was in trouble. It was clearly show to him pre surgery as per the photos taken that he never reviewed and ignored. Secondly his incision line was jagged and three inches long when I was promised only two inches. One is above the inframammary crease where it should have been. After a year I have extra long ugly scars with divots due to complication of spitting stitches I will have to re surface with laser. I have an O shaped left breast and U smaller different shaped right breast which was also never finessed or adjusted during surgery. This was just rushed and he used what he had at my cost not going the extra mile as an excellent plastic surgeon should. I had very little breast tissue which had to be assessed in surgery so many more bigger sizes should have been in this office prior to surgery due to this uncertainty They were not which is a grandiose error in judgment an not emergency ordered while I was in surgery. Dr. Z wants to do another revision where I will have to incur cost. This was not an act of nature but an act of Dr. Z who was not adequately prepared with implants and ignored my asymmetry totally when it was part of my cost and plan and I should incur cost? The office was supposed to get back to me after conferring with their anesthesiologist but I never heard from them since my office visit in September 2025. Dr. Z told me he would “play around” in my chest with no detailed surgical plan for a revision to meet my needs. I realized then I could no longer trust this surgeon again and end up worse. He is not detailed, thorough, dedicated to this patient needs nor an artist, perfectionist or meticulous in surgery which is what I needed and any patient does too so I am writing this review to warn I cry every day to see a smaller different shaped breast I paid to correct in revision that I waited so many years to have. He told me to trust him with my needs and failed. Don't let him ruin your dreams for plastic surgery desired results like he did mine and end up crying too. Choose a world class surgeon dedicated to making patient needs paramount and goes to the limit to do so. Not one like Dr. Z who rushes out for vacation and does not even speak to you at recovery and just uses what he has on hand to leave a patient's wishes ignored. Totally unscrupulous.

If you're looking for a quick review of Dr. Zuckerman- He's 10 stars- The BEST- a true artist and his staff is amazing. I look fabulous and I'm super happy with the results! If you're looking for details on why- read below. I had surgery late February with Dr. Zuckerman and I'm now just about 8 weeks post op. I underwent a tummy tuck, breast lift/augmentation, 360 lipo and exosome injections. I'm 36 years old, 5'3" and was 136 lbs at the time of surgery. After two children, two appendix surgery scars, one 3" melanoma scar, and a belly button piercing scar, I pretty much needed a miracle worker to fix my train wreck of a torso. When doing my initial research for NYC plastic surgeons, I was looking for the best "belly button maker". I can usually tell when someone has a tummy tuck because the belly button looks weird so it was important to me that I got it right. I looked at tons of websites' before and after photos/videos until I came across Dr. Zuckerman talking about how important belly buttons are in tummy tucks. I knew he was my guy. I immediately reached out for a zoom consultation. He was the first appointment of a few doctors that I scheduled to interview and I was incredibly grateful it turned out that way. Our zoom consultation was very thorough. Dr Zuckerman went over every little detail of what he thought I needed based on my body concerns. He explained how each procedure works, my options on breast implants, the aftercare, and what to expect for results. I felt that he listened to me and understood what I was looking to achieve. I hung up feeling super confident in him but I still had to interview the other doctors. To say the least, the other doctors didn't go over half of what Dr. Zuckerman did and I wouldn't have even known what to ask the other doctors if he didn't speak to me first. He put them to shame so it was a no brainer... I went with my gut and was put on the schedule for a hot bod-three weeks out. Two weeks before surgery- I went in for pre op photos and blood work around the corner. Everything was great. I met his nurse, Sarah, who not only is gorgeous but a real sweetheart. She went over more surgery details and instructions for before and after surgery, including how important lymphatic massages were. The day of surgery was lovely. There was a Board Certified Anesthesiologist who greeted me and went over medical history. She got me cozy on the table and put me right to sleep. My husband hung out and worked from the waiting room for 8 hours until I was done. He was right outside of the operating room door and could hear everything which actually put him at ease. He got constant updates from the nurses too so he thought they did a great job on his end. The home recovery was hard but only because I don't like to take pain medicine. Nurse Sarah called to check up on me a few times along the way. I had zero complications- just normal questions about if healing looked ok because It's kind of scary watching your body have so many incisions! My aftercare appointments were great too. Dr Zuckerman's staff's bedside manner is A+. One of the nurses, MiMi, just took her time helping me work through the pain and was really gentle. Another beautiful sweetheart, let me tell ya! Everything has healed completely and I am looking like I'm 23- with much better boobs and an amazing belly button. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Zuckerman and his staff. They are truly talented, wonderful and trustworthy. *Side note- Dr Z. was a bit more expensive than the other doctors I received quotes from but you get what you pay for. Nothing is more important than safety when it comes to cosmetic procedures. I sleep well knowing I won’t have to redo my procedures and my body was in the best possible care. It’s super important to do your research and select a board certified plastic surgeon that works with a board certified anesthesiologist.

Dr. Zuckerman is the kindest, most caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. My treatments were transformative and addressed several signs of aging that I have long hated to see every day I look in the mirror. Dr. Zuckerman got me back to look and feeling like myself. That is a gift!

I could not be more grateful to have found Dr. Zuckerman and his staff. After my pregnancy, I was feeling terrible about my body and the changes wrought by a large weight gain. Dr. Zuckerman returned my body to how it used to look! Thank you SO much Dr. Z!

I used to judge people who got Botox, but Dr. Joshua Zuckerman helped me see that that was incredibly stupid. Botox is amazing! And, Dr. Zuckerman is a very talented injector. Treatments are so short - just a few minutes - and he does them with a very small needle. I felt very little pain. I do Botox regularly now because it really does help me avoid wrinkles. My forehead isn't totally unmoveable due to Dr. Zuckerman's careful techniques. Go to him for Botox! (And anything else!)
