After surgery I felt abandoned. I’m not a fan of him as I don’t think he really understands his patients. Rather than support me when I struggled to lose weight(even though I followed his directions to aT), I felt like I wasn’t successful so he wrote me off.

My gastric bypass was in 2003 I think. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I'm still having issues related to this. I, also, remember his staff being rude and condescending. I know it has been many years but that stayed with me.

This doctor did gastric bypass on my mom and she has been very sick since. She had a hole in her stomach and has been in the hospital for weeks! Had major internal bleeding and had a second surgery to save her life!!! A friend of hers had the same surgery a few days before her and is also having complications. Also a police officer I met at my job said he went to a call for a woman who had surgery by him and she had to be rushed to hospital because of hole in her stomach! Sometimes the hole won't heal or you get very sick and have many complications!!! Think long and hard about this surgery because it's a lot of hell to deal with afterwards!!!!

Arrogant, rude, egotistical non caring jerk would not accept responsibility for mistakes. Thought he was too good to make one. Not true. Would NOT recommended him to anyone! !!

Dr Bour is AWESOME!! I would not let anyone else do surgery on me!!

Dr. Bour saved my daughter's life in 2002. She had a medical emergency a week before she was supposed to get married. His decisions and timing were perfect. He removed about 3.5 feet of her intestine that had twisted. She was in severe pain, and was put on morphine. He was caring and thorough. He did not mind answering my continous questions. My daughter was only 26 at the time. I am very thankful for Dr. Bour and his team. He is the best!!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Bour and his staff. Their results speak for themselves. they are kind, intelligent, helpful people who truly want their patients to succeed. The program is comprehensive and includes phychological and nutritional visits as well as the surgery itself. He is VERY thourough in his overall outlook on weightloss and how best to combat obesity. We researched for over a year before choosing Dr. Bour and I would do it again in a hot minute.

He knows what he is doing but his receptionists are unfriendly and uncaring. I would rather talk to a wall than one of the receptionists.
