The doctor seemed less then interested in me during my office visit. When the nurse called with my lab results and I questioned the treatment, she grew agitated. It was obvious she was reading from a book and was not knowledgeable on my illness.

Caring and understanding physician. He is very thorough and spent a great deal of time with me and my father during our visits, which is pretty refreshing now a days.

My 84 year old mother visited Dr. Mumie and was extremely pale and having trouble sleeping. I don't know what was said at the office visit but she went to the ER two days later and found to be severely anemic with a hemoglobin of under 5 (should be 12 to 17). She received 4 units of blood and had interal bleeding. Odd that Dr. Mumie didn't notice her extreme paleness and gave her a clean bill of health when in fact she was very ill with undiagnosed colon cancer.
