Dr Todd McKenzie either to make a point or out of ignorance put my 7 yr old on a med starting the dose at 1 mg(lowest) & within 3 wks had her worked up to the highest dose 3mg. This med is not to be given to children under age 6. He felt no need to see her for a med check during this time. I did bring her in for unusual fatigue, bedwetting & constipation issues which ended up being side effects of med, I was the one who realized this a few days later. Before upping the med to 3 mg I called Dr Mckenzie & told him I was concerned about side effects & did not want to give her the 3mg. He instructed me to up the med anyway. After 2 days her fatigue was overwhelming & she was completly out of it. I decided I am my childrens advocate, I weaned her off the medication & called the Dr office told them my concerns & asked to see a differant Dr. When we went to appt I felt she was protecting her fellow dr & not concerned at all about what my child went thru.
