Ratings for Dr. Howard Pittle
Since I heard that Dr. Pittle was a very qualified m.d., I decided to schedule and appointment with him. But I was unable to make an appointment since I was told by the receptionist I had to have my previous medical records transferred to their office. When I explained that I was pretty healthy and had no previous medical records to transfer, I was told that I could not be seen. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and asked to speak to the office manager but was told she was the office manager. Needless to say, I found an excellent doctor who didn't care that I didn't have any records to transfer. Needless to say, I found a very good
I've been a patient for aprox 10 years. The only neg is I wish they had an option to leave messages they can be hard to get a hold of. Dr. Pittle is a wonderful, caring Dr. and as a nurse of 34 years I'm particular. Also the P.A. Channel is awesome! I dislike large practices and I have always had the best of treatment here. Also I bring my Mother here they are wonderful with her. All office staff and assistants are professional and friendly.
I was recently admitted to the hospital and ended up having to have my gallbladder removed. Since I chose to go to a different hospital than the one that my PCP is affiliated with, Dr. Pittle was the attending physician assigned to my case. He seemed to me to be a very knowledgable and approachable physician, and he gave my PCP regular status reports in order to keep her informed about my condition. Dr. Pittle ordered all of the appropriate tests in order to come to an informed decision and took the time to explain everything to me in a very straight and forward manner. If I were not already so satisfied with my present PCP and her staff, I would have seriously considered making the switch to Dr. Pittle.
