After completing his medical eduation at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1997, he completed his family residency residency at the Family Practice Foundation of the Brazos Valley in Bryan/College Station, Texas in 2000. He and his family returned home to Longview in 2000, where he has practiced with the Diagnostic Clinic of Longview his entire career. He is on active staff at Good Shepherd Hospital and at Longview Regional Medical Center, where he has served in the past as Chief of Medicine and Chief of Staff. He is married to Tracy and they have 2 daughters.
