This was the worst experience I have ever had. My mental health is worse due to uncaring staff and Dr. wait time is hours. Overbooked...don’t care about you as a person at all.

Always late, sometimes made to wait hours past my appointment time. Dismissed side effects of medication and was unwilling to listen about effects or consider other options. She didn't listen or respond to what I was saying, and was judgmental. Switched to another doctor, with much better results. Do your homework, came to find out Sperazza isn't even board certified in psychiatry!

Absolute WORST doctor I ever had. She lacked empathy, compassion, and any normal traits you'd expect a doctor to posses. Apparently she's able to diagnose you in one session, as well as prescribe multiple medications. When you see her for months at a time and tell her they're not working or you don't feel right she just UPS the dosage... also staff is rude and you'll spend more time in the waiting room than you will with the doctor. Highly suggesting looking elsewhere...

I’ve been seeing Dr. Sperazza for 10 years. She does therapy & scripts. Most psychiatrists from Harrisburg to Scranton only give you scripts. Then you have to see a psychologist for therapy. She does listen to you even if it sets her back. I drive 125 miles to see her. She’s great!

Beware. Suicide is serious, but apparently not to her or the staff. Watch for signs that your child is getting worse under her care and go somewhere else! Fast!

horrible lack of compassion. when contacted for crisis suicidal situation will not call back secretary said that daughter was only saying it because she was in trouble in school. at appointment was told she can not help her anymore when she said the prozac was causing insomnia she said stop prozac and said to go to hospital or community counseling because she can not help. refused to give directions on titration of the prozac. when we went to hospital they said not to stop suddenly and to go to 20 mg instead of 40mg because stopping suddenly could cause more issues. do not go to this doctor if you truely need help

I have been going to her for over 14 years. She is cautious about addiction and will not give another prescription if you lose or misuse. Her staff are always helpful. The trick is to grab an early appointment bc you will have a wait.

She is a great doctor! She always listens and helps you in every way that she can. She does not overmedicate.

The most dangerous doctor I have ever known with a cruelty of the caliber of Josef Mengele. Sperazza abruptly stopped my medication which tumbled me into a severe case of discontinuation syndrome; the dosage had been very considerably high so there was no surprise that I experienced harshly all of the symptoms. Sperazza's assertion that I should be able to continue my day to day life without interruption was pure negligence: I could have seriously ENDANGERED the lives of others not to mention my own life. When a medical test proved that Sperazza was WRONG for her mistreatment, she coughed up a political statement that the *laboratory did not complete all of the tests*. No one deserves to be treated like that! The whole experience was not only a complete nightmare, but utterly jaw-dropping!

I've seen this doctor for 4 years and she's amazing. She has a long wait time but she is so knowledgeable and compassionate. She medicated me well and whenever I have an issue with medication she is always quick to have a solution. I absolutely love her! She also gives me a hug everytime I leave which makes me feel so much better!
