Ratings for Dr. David A. Coy
Dr Coy failed to mention the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy that I was showing high blood pressure until one of his MAs spoke up and told me, "did you know you've had high blood pressure the last 3 visits and it's high again today?" I was never told this during our appointment so after our visit completed and he said "ok see you again in 1 week" my husband and I shared the info that his nurse had told us. He looked into my chart and said "oh yeah, it has been high, here's a slip take this to the hospital and well induce you" I was pretty upset that it had gone unnoticed or un mentioned. It takes 1min to review a patients chart prior to entering their exam room. Thankfully my child was born healthy, but he wasn't even there to deliver her. The nurse told me he went home and didn't want to return so the on call dr delivered.
My daughter was at emergency & they recommended we see Dr. Coy the next day for follow up to an abdominal emergency. Office staff was confused & claimed Dr. Is not seeing new patients. Dr. Coy oversees an inefficient staff which reflects negatively on his ability to provide quality care.
All I Have To say about Dr. Coy I that He Fails To communicate Clearly when It comes to Health conditions during pregnancy or Baby's Developemental Process. Also the Staff could use a Happy Pill Once In a while or a little common Courtesy to make Patients Feel a Little More Welcome and comfortable and Giving patients Information on results after Having labs/tests done wether good/bad. Communication between doctor and patient Please we are in all our right to know what is going on with our health it shouldn't be our job to ask let us know. Thanks
