Ratings for Dr. TAKAHIRO Otsuka
The doctor himself is okay but his Victorville office is absolutely awful. The staff are so incompetent that you end up driving to their office to drop paperwork off just to prove that they did actually receive it. They sent debt collectors after me for a $300 debt which did not exist (since canceled) - yet haven't billed me for a $10 copay (nope, they don't take cards). Every time they claim they haven't received test results while the hospital claim they sent them. CVS got so fed up faxing them prescription refill requests that I had to drive it over. They said they would get the doctor to do it that afternoon. The next day I ask if it has been done. Has what been done? The refill request I dropped off yesterday into your hands. Sorry sir, we don't have that. But I gave it to you personally. I don't remember that - can you get another copy? What, for the sixth time? Apparently that's rude to ask. As for phoning them, well good luck getting through. Trying to book an appointment I get the third degree and then get put on hold while they try to find my records. Ten minutes later, they hang up on me. I call again, 5 minutes into the hold, hung up on again. Third time: straight to the "office is now closed" answerphone, helpfully telling me that the office hours are until 4pm (this is at 3:30pm). And this happens *every* time. Again, the doctor is okay. It's just his staff that take incompetence to new extremes.
good doctor.he listens to you and well knowledgeable. i trust him and i have seen many endo and he is the one for me.he is open to different treatments of medication even the old natural thyroid treatments...im not on this but most endo refuse the natural medication. long wait at loma linda medical for appointments. short waiting room wait. always has a nurse to help with questions.
Was the absolutel worst doctor I have ever come in contact with! I left the appointment crying, he was demeaning, rude, and the most arrogant human being ever. He tried to tell me I did not have a tumor based on only a urine result and he refused to look at the scan that showed a positive tumor on my left adrenal gland-even when I asked him more than three specific times during the visit. Multiple times, I had to ask him to repeat what he was saying because his english was so bad, I could not understand him. I think I would rather die than have him as my doctor, because he would probably kill me anyways with his horrid medical knowledge.
I love him! He listens to me and takes what I say into consideration. I see him at least twice a year due to a serious medical condition. He explains everything to me in layman's terms without making me feel stupid. I wish all doctors were like him.
The best Dr. I have ever had! Great bed side manner, listens to you, answers all your questions and explains everything. I had to have a thyroid biopsy and I nearly jumped off the table when the needle went in but he kept steady. I still don't know how. I wish the man could be my primary care physician. I still haven't had great luck with those. I definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for an endocronologist.
