Ratings for Dr. Henry Martin Hochberg
Unfortunately I cannot in all honesty give 5 stars to this Doctor, His surgery is far out dated to the point of not being able to submit escripts to mail in providers. If your health, Insurance or prescription provider works online then choose another clinic because this one has zero technology and is unwilling to spend the time needed to compensate for it. In short, Very good Doctor, Limited to zero technical support.
i am not dr hochberg's patient. i just work for him for 2 months. all i can say is: he is wonderful doctor. he is always late. its true but its just because he spends extra time ( sometime even an hour) to see each patient. he never rush the patient out of room. his nurse, GI,is such a nice person. truly enjoy being with them and working with them.
Dr Hochberg is a wonderful doctor and my primary doctor since 10 + years. I agree with other people's comments about the office being a little difficult to get thru but its a very little annoyance compared with the dedication you will get from Dr Hochberg. One thing you need to know, don't go there expecting to be seen inmediately and on time. The Dr is usually late but only because he takes time with each patient. I love that about him! Just relax, get a book and wait for your turn. It works for me.
Dr Hochberg is the best. Unfortunately, the nurse, who is very difficult, is his wife so she is around to stay. Once you figure out how to deal with her, the only negative is taken care of. The dr. is caring, thoughtful and always takes the time to listen to you. He can often run behind schedule but you know that when he comes to you, you have his full attention and will not be rushed out of the office. He truly pays attention to the whole person and not just a symptom.
Fantastic doctor -- genuine compassion, no "attitude." No feeling of being rushed. Seems to really know his stuff and is clear in explaining. I trust him completely. I wish the main nurse wasn't so difficult but he's well worth the trouble.
Dr. Hochberg takes time to listen, answer questions, discuss his diagnoses and treatment suggestions. Has a "whole person" approach to medical issues. He encourages learning about and understanding whatever the medical issue is. Recommends useful books and resources.
