Uses scare tactics to get csection agreement. Horrible at answering quedtions and scared of a "real" delivery. Also, no bedside manners and condescending and rude. Switched to avoid her negative attitude when I wanted to make my own decisions instead of do what she wanted. Sure, she was fine up until the last few months then she changed her personality all together. She is so fske.
She is amazing! She has been my OB for 9 years now and been through 3 pregnancies with me. I have difficulties with extreme pain and discomfort during pap smears and pelvic exams, and she has helped me through each one, making it easier and bearable both physically and emotionally. I have recommended her to several of my friends and family. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 on the 'punctuality' one is that there are times she is behind, but it is because she is very thorough and spends extra time with patients if needed -or- she is currently or has been in delivery.
I would strongly advise you as you search for your OBGYN to go elsewhere. I would absolutely never recommend her to any woman in search of good care, especially during the process of child bearing.During my 1st pregnancy miscarriage I was treated terribly and given wrong information from Dr. Webb. She truely demonstrated to me her lack of concern and knowledge, and lack of compassion during a most horrific painful time for me the patient. I was given the WRONG information, she insulted me with her comments and told me i was one of the most rediculous patients he had ever seen...why?...because I asked questions. Yes, questions & many of them as I have the right to do. Her lack of medical care and knowledge for their patients is detrimental to the women that would falsely place trust in such a poor quality Dr. My experience with her was awful beyond words and made an already difficult, scary time for me waaay worse than it needed to be.
I have six children, all my pregnancies have been under the care of Dr.Webb. I would have no other Dr. treat any of my pregnancies other than Dr.Webb. I read the above commments and could never believe anything negative that would come from Dr.Webb. She is simply the BEST OB/GYN I have ever had. Her compassion, and knowledge is incredible. I referred her to a good friend of mine whose husband was diagnosed with cancer when she was only 6 weeks pregnant. I believe Dr.Webb had such heart and understanding, helping my freind through such a traumatic time. I would refer her to anybody who could a appreciate a Dr. with such compassion and skill. God Bless.
This was my first pregnancy and I was pretty nervous about the labor. Dr. Webb was great in addressing any concerns I had and answering all questions in the straight-forward manner. The thing that I liked the most about her is that she would explain all of the options and give me a choice to make my own decision. Overall I had such a positive pregnancy and labor experience with her that I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Poor service, bad communication, careless, cold feeling and unprofessional treatment.
Dr. Alison Webb is a honorary part of my family. After now delivering two of my three children and both being very high risk pregnancies she showed me and my family true compassion and respect. She is our Guardian Angel. I was recommended to her by a good friend and would and have recommended her to every woman I know who is planning to have a baby.
A friend of mine told me of her experience after losing her baby at 34 weeks gestation. Dr. Webb was very uncaring in telling her that she had lost her baby. When she delivered, Dr. Webb did not even allow the mother to hold her baby because she wanted an autopsy done. I think that a mother should get to hold her child for as long as she wants, since she will not get that chance ever again. Dr. Webb has no business being a doctor with such poor people skills and lack of compassion for her patients.
Dr. Webb's office staff have always been very nice and helpful. OB's have variable schedules due to deliveries and I was kept informed of lateness or delays. Dr. Webb spent all the time in the world with me when I was facing a hysterectomy. I had exhausted all options and she was very straight forward and patient in explaining all choices, I felt I had a terrific outcome. My hospital experince with her through the D and C's and subsequent hysterectomy were A+. She really looked out for me.She came highly reccomended from my pcp,in fact,it is her doctor,as well. I would reccomend Dr. Webb to anyone.
I had a high risk pregnancy, and other medical issues. I did not feel that she truly listened to my concerns. I was thankful that I had a great family doctor that watched over me.
