... worst thing which could ever befall a severely injured HMO patient, winding up being referred to Mohamed Z. Lameer. Arrogant 75 year old geriatric running a co-pay mill for the HMO's in Palmdale, California, out of a slap-dashed medical office space fashioned into a contemporary co-pay mill, where he plays games with the local medical groups, arbitraging HMO referrals from the infamous High Desert Medical Group of Lancaster, California. A medical office devoid medical supplies, they don't even have a pillow for severely injured patients, whom much lie down. Makeshift operating tables severely injured patients are expected to lie back upon left insufficiently padded, are excruciating, leaving you better off, standing. Too old to perform general surgery himself, Lameer stalls the HMO referral process months on end, for time sufficient to scare-up a competent surgeon to do the procedure for him, because he can't. Severely injured, instead of expediting my husband straight to emergency surgery, Lameer pocket-vetoed my husband's referral, hung our HMO out to dry, postponing his surgery over 3 months, leaving him to languish in abject misery, thereby extending his impending recovery several months. Unscrupulous front office people have no compunction lying straight through their teeth, covering up for the old guy --

A good doctor who usually knows his limitations. I think he wants to help you so much that he sometimes does procedures betters left to a more experienced doctor.
