Dr. Nelson is a thorough and caring physician. He is patient and takes time to explain, answer questions and provide reassurance. He has been my son's pediatrician since birth and over the past five years I have been continually amazed at the depth of his caring, the prudence with which he approaches challenging situations and his knowledge as a practitioner. He has returned calls from the sidelines of his own boys' weekend games. He obviously carries his patients in his thoughts and considers their health and wellbeing long after an appointment. Such depth of caring and respect for parents and their desire for a complete and uncomplicated explaination is unsurpassed. He's one of the best - not just in Athens.
