My children have almost outgrown the need for a pediatrician, and it is a difficult decision to move them from the care of Dr. Frerichs. We have been devoted to him since he met us at his closed office on a Sunday afternoon when we first moved to the area 16 years ago! My baby was screaming out in pain and we didn't know who to call. He responded with sensitivity then, was just as supportive and efficient when she was in 5th grade and needed an emergency appendectomy, and has counseled us professionally on my son's ongoing health and growth. We continued to drive to North Raleigh for his medical care, even though we moved to Cary seven years ago!
