It is now January 2025 and i had a full face, eye and neck lift with Dr. Baker 14 years ago. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I will never forget his kindness to me, his knowledge and his expertise. I am so glad i went to him for this. I was cared for after surgery around the clock and was never left alone for a minute. When i went home, one of his nurses came with me and stayed with me. After i went home, i had to go to his office for a checkup around every other day when it was still dark out! But his office arranged a car service to take me. I encountered not one problem during my healing and ended up looking 20 years younger and it lasted about 12 years. Dr. Baker is a genius.

A pleasure altogether. Very, kind and sensible enough to guide patients to what would be best rather than pushing for more .

I went to see Dr. Baker back in 2019, this doctor needs his license to be taken away. During my $500 consultation, he told me that I should use the doctor I used before who is in Beverly Hills, I pointed out that the reason I came to see him is because I want someone local as flying back and forth to LA is inconvenient, but he told me that he won’t work on me, I then tried to at least ask for him to recommend what he thinks I need to be done to make me look younger, he also refused to do even that. Now my question is - why will this doctor book an appointment, charge $500 when he basically didn’t want to take me on as a patient and or even give me advice? I am not even going to get into the absurdity of not taking patients who had work done by other doctors, but if that is your purgative, then please ask potential clients when they are booking a consultation if they ever had work done by other surgeons, and this way you don’t rob them of $500 just to tell them that I wont touch you because you had other plastic surgeons do work on you, and I wont give you any advice either. This doctor needs psychiatrical intervention. Stay away.

He is, to me, a bit of a god. Afterall, he shaped and manipulated the clay of my face, transforming me into a prettier human. I must go back when I am in New York again. He is a wonderful person, so kind, professional, just a lovely person all around.

After reading some of the other comments about Dr. Baker, I felt I must add my comments. I am 72 years old and had a face lift performed by Dr. Baker 20 years ago. The result was fantastic. I looked at least 20 years younger, and I have not yet needed another one. I had no problem dealing with Dr. Baker. I did not find him abrasive. Rather, I appreciated that he was direct and honest in his appraisal and refused to exaggerate what could be done or recommend unnecessary procedures. He is not a touchy-feely person; he is extremely intelligent and somewhat of an intellectual. Not a hand-holder or someone who will cater to the unreasonable or unwise desires of his clients, but someone who is extremely competent and determined to produce an excellent result in whatever he does.

Had a facelift in 2002. Its now 2018 and thats how long it lasted. Now Im ready for a revision and upper bleph. He is a master. He is kind. He isnt going to patronize your ego or deal with your emotional drama. He is straightforward and honest. If you need a psychologist, dont see him. His time is too valuable. He teaches PS to other surgeons and is brilliant.

I had a lower face-lift this past January, I am five months post op now and extremely happy with the result. I did extensive research before choosing Dr. Baker and even consulted with friends who are surgeons and did work with him recently, everyone was unanimously agreeing that he is still the absolute best for face-lifts in New York. His incisions are absolutely invisible, no other surgeons i have seen work from in NYC and this including of course the ones known to be the top ones, no other is capable of making incisions that are already invisible after 2 weeks, I wish I could post photos but for confidentiality reasons I am not comfortable with doing so. I can only encourage any one who is looking to do a face-lift to go to him. You will have guaranteed invisible incisions, guaranteed natural look (my own family would have never been able to notice anything except that i look a lot better and fresher if they had seen me after 6 weeks.). He is also a very kind man and attentive, I hear that some people think he can be a little abrasive, however this has not been my experience, he has been the most wonderful, attentive doctor and by the way he follows his patients very regularly throughout the whole year after surgery . I only hope he will stay as healthy and strong as he is for many more years as so far no one comes close to him in NY at least from my experience and research. I love him! Good luck.

Having had cosmetic surgeries performed by Dr. Baker, I can attest that he is a phenomenal surgeon. In my opinion, he is the absolute best.
