Add me to the list of patients who got so frustrated with the office manager that we decided to change practices, in spite of being very satisfied with Dr. Tong on a technical level. It's not just a question of "meanness" or "rudeness." She is not to be trusted, and would not communicate directly with me when I questioned the bills. Each time, I turned out to be correct, and I would have been overcharged by a significant amount if I hadn't challenged her. Dr. Tong is aware of the problem, but seems to be happy with the situation, so it's ultimately his fault. I have gone elsewhere, and I recommend you keep looking unless you don't mind being treated like a chump.

Wonderful, caring office. Our family has been with Dr. Tong since he opened in Rockville. My children love Dr. Tong. Professional, knowledgeable, caring, patient, extremely clean office, and has terrific doctor-patient relationships. Kelly, is the practice Hygienist, is very smart and terrific. I recommend this office to anyone looking for an excellent dentist.

I had a dental abscess while living in Courthouse Square on a temporary job assignment. I can't tell you know grateful I was to find someone like Dr. Tong so close and so very competent. I had a few complications after receiving an emergency root canal from another practitioner in the area, and had to revisit Dr. Tong. His office was always accommodating when fitting me in. I only wish he practiced in my home area, as my favorite dentist is retiring. I was treated respectfully and professionally by the staff to the best of my memory of the experience.

Seriously, this is the WORST office manager that I have EVER dealt with in my entire life! I am a health care professional and so I know how important it is to deal respectfully with customers. Well, don't expect any of that here. Over the years, I tried to put up with her because I really liked Dr Tong, however enough is enough! The icing on the cake was when they took me off the schedule without informing me because I wrote Dr Tong a letter about his rude, disrespectful, and generally nasty office manager! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

Office is beautiful and clean. All staff is friendly and helpful. The office has two friendly ladies in the front, and his assistant was great!

Dealing with the staff of Rockville smiles was one of the most unpleasant and cantankerous experiences I have ever had as a customer of a service. If you believe that people providing a service should be of a generally pleasant disposition, then stay away from this staff!

I agree with the other postings. The office managers was so mean. I asked a simple question about my bill and was given a nasty response. I will not go back to this office because of that experience.

Dr. Tong and the nurses in the office are very good, but the front desk and the manager are terrible!! Honestly, they are the worst stuff I've ever seen anywhere. I am sad that we have to stop using Dr. Tong because of them :(

I am very shocked to read some of these entries. Not only do I strongly disagree, I stand behind Dr. Tong and his staff. I have been a patient for over 3years and have had nothing but good experiences. The whole staff is exceptional including the office manager. I am sorry to read such negativity.

I am no longer a patient at this office. Unfortunately, although Dr.Tong is great, his "office mgr" is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. He needs to replace her asap. She is the worst. Too many other dental offices to choose from.
