Herzl Family Practice Clinic

This is the worst clinic I've ever attended. We arrived 30 minutes earlier, but waited within 2 hours. Then we were examined by a medical student who consulted several times with a doctor from another office. They refused to prescribe a blood test (cause last time I am tired, have black skin under my eyes and don’t feel good ), even the doctor himself came from another office, for us, only for one reason: not to prescribe a test, explaining that if they will find anemia, no insurance company will insure me after. It was scary and funny to hear it, and understanding how disenfranchised the patients are here and they don’t have any choice with « doctors » from clinic like this!!! So if your health and time important for you - never visit this clinic!!!

Excellent Clinic. I don't understand why anyone would give it a bad review. My wife and I have been with a TEAM 3 doctor for years and we get excellent care. Any 'shortcomings' like long waits for appointments etc can be attributed to the larger issues with our health care system and a government that seems determined to dismantle it...The Herzl team is doing great work under very stressful conditions.

Secretaries should be fired terrible service. Its clear they dont want to help

Unfortunately, I had to visit this clinic last week and honestly I never seen such rude secretaries in my life, ye t the doctor was so sweet , but secretaries were terrible. I highly recommend they attend some professional classes to do their work in a better way or maybe their managers had to reevaluate their way of dealing with patients, hope this will be taken into consideration.

One particular receptionnist literally saying while admitting me : “you seriously come to the clinic just for this”, and then making out loud comments with her colleague as to why I’m just wasting their time, “if she can’t breathe, why is she wearing a mask?” (because I had a viral illness and didn’t want to spread it). Very unprofessional and deplorable that this is the first encounter for any patient who comes in, and usually not by choice. Although the nurse and doctor I met afterwards were the total opposite and took the time the make a thorough assessment with patience and kindness, it is unfortunately not enough to make up for the insolence of their front desk colleagues. As an employee of the JGH, I am embarassed that this kind of behavior is associated with an establishment part of one of the best hospital in Montreal.

Staff are generally quite rude and dismissive (with some exceptions).

I read a whole article online about the administrator at this clinic (as I recall her first name is Carmie) passing herself off as a doctor when she only has a secretarial degree!
