Downtown Georgetown Dental

Downtown Georgetown Dental is the worst dental office that I have ever visited. They are a SCAM - DO NOT GO HERE. I was sceptical of going to a new dentist to get my teeth looked at. I had a slight tooth pain and I was going away to Florida for the week so I had to go in on the weekend. They did x-rays, told me I had no signs of anything showing in the X-ray and prescribed me a bunch of high dosage medication and rinses. They told me that I had a crack in my front tooth and I needed an emergency root canal costing me over $1000 - just by her feeling my tooth. No tests were done but tapping on my tooth and the X-ray. I thought this was outrageous and heard bad things about this office being a cash grab and performing procedures that they did not need to do, so I quickly called my dentist on Monday. My dentist took me in and did various and numerous tests on all of my teeth and said that there was nothing wrong with any of my teeth and gums no signs of infections or anything and that they didn’t know what they were talking about. They just wanted to pull a perfectly healthy tooth on a young female to make money. When I called to speak to them about this they were very rude to me and wouldn’t discuss anything with me. After they prescribed me these high dose painkillers, high dose antibiotics and oral rinse I proceeded to get a severe yeast infection from the antibiotics that I didn’t need. Please be aware of this dental office praying on people to perform procedures that they do not need in order to make money but they do not care at all about their patients well being. They would not refund me and they told me they would call back but they have not.
