Garbage charges you for your medication even though one us coverd by odsp. you wont. see a dime from me why dont you charge odsp where you are supposed to absolutely garbage doctor birss would have fixed this this place is just a money grab

I have been a patient here for 46 years. Dr. Chris is a joke. The one issue at a time nonsense is unreal. I have been told that "I was fine" on the medication I was on. Saying that it worked for someone else. Comparing patients is not doctoring. If you don't know what you are doing refer me to someone who does. Has an ego problem and uncaring bedside manner. I miss Dr. Birss. He was what a doctor is supposed to be. Caring, invested and most importantly takes time to REALLY talk to you. If he didn't know something he reached out to other doctors and specialists and asked their opinions. That's what a real doctor does, who isn't concerned with the $$$ than the actual human attached to the $$$. Go somewhere else. ***I do love the nurses, receptionists and pharmacy crew. Only ever had a few issues with attitude. ***

No idea why this place has gone completely down hill the past 5 years. Could be the new doctors here. I WAS a patient here for 35 yrs and left due to my old DOC retiring and leaving his patients in the " incapable hands" of a younger doctor. I could never get in to see this new doctor, when I felt it was needed, the nurses line is no longer a available, the appointment desk is always backed up with up to 15 patients before my que, by the time you get in to see a doctor, the need is no longer a necessity. I had enough of the ignorance of the new doctors and most of their staff there. Attitudes towards older patients is by far the worst experience. I'm glad I'm with another more educated doctor and clinic. I think this place will be going under soon.

Rude and ignorant reception staff, every time I’ve called for a dire appointment, it’s been a 2 month wait. My doctor is usually on vacation. The nurses have been great but when I was getting some stitches out recently, the unpleasant commentary from the nurse regarding the stitches caused me to have an anxiety attack.

Worst reception staff on this planet. I didn’t think it was possible to be this unkind and uncaring. They treat the patients like pigs. They shout, snack and hang up on the clients. Good luck getting an appointment with your doctor with these trolls at the front lines

Worst place to get or see family doctor. This clinic was far better when they first opened up back in the 1980s. Now all new doctors and all are impossible to see when needed and never take enough time to communicate with you as a patient. I'd rather go to a walk in clinic or call Telus health. Every doctor I've seen here was of no help in resolving my health concerns. I know a nurse practitioner who works out of Waterloo and she can't stand Grandview

Update from post below dated March 3, 2021. Not only did the hospital not find my stomach infection which was quite serious when I went to ER - causing me bleeding and vomiting along with chronic pain- had to go to a walk in after vising ER - and left with (hospital) their bias against me and really not believing me so much so the doctor who treated me wrote the wrong side of pain location...I have documents stating my chronic pain is near left ovary and goes back several years...the questioning during the nurses interrogation was unhelpful and pathetic...stop judging...LISTEN AND HEAL.....I'm really tired of doctors wanting more pay...try earning it like rest of us...We are not your cattle. I started with grandview's new doctor at time right after this ER visit for pain and vomiting, etc... and spent three hours on phone while she took notes...not only did she not take notes for her to remember this point since I told her the ER doc was a judgmental jerk - she sent me for more tests on the right side of my body following ER docs lack of concern and improper note mistake - pain should have been stated on left side - follow up treatments should have focused on that - the nurse and her god like mentality came through during her profiling me more like judging not healing so not surprising they didnt find a simple thing like stomach infection....Also told them I fall a lot and get light headed...I was rewarded with a "mam, there's absolutely nothing wrong with you" meanwhile there clearly was an infection....yet treating me like his time was waisted on me and left me for last to see him...You go to mental health side...they do exact same thing...take notes what they shape or choose to remember to fit some profile....even though its biased and false. Im starting a patient rights group in Cambridge non profit to allow folks to post stories and see directory of doctors and services will be listed to search quality care available.....be informed....your heath depends on it.

I've been a patient of Grandview for 38 years and they're progressively getting worse and worse. My job requires NOTICE for appointments so the "same day appointment" rule doesn't work for the regular working person. Now since Covid hit they're afraid to see patients (even now that we're all vaccinated) and we have to book a telephone conference that comes sometime in a couple hour window. It's not easy to tell your employer sometime between 9-1 I'm going to have a telephone conference. Doesn't work. No wonder our hospitals are even more swamped during a pandemic. Must be grandview patients unable to get appts with their docs. Everytime I try and get an appt with mine(mcmurich)I'm told that he deals with diabetes patients so his availability is limited. I also presented with every single symptom of breast cancer 3 years ago and he told me "you're too young" only when I pressed to see a specialist did he finally refer me (took 3x demanding). The speciality was apphauled that he ignored my symptoms. I asked for a form to be filled out. A month has passed. Called today to follow up and was given attitude. A MONTH is a very long time for a form to be filled out. She said it's 16 pages. I let her know clearly nobody even looked at it. The doctors portion is 1/4 of a page and should take 5 minutes or less to fill out. The minute I can get out of there I'm gone!
