Dr. Eddie Kwan

I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with this Dr. The first time, he was asked to follow up in checking my eye following eye surgery as requested by my own Opthalmologist who was away. Dr Kwan did minimal effort and left the stitches in my eye. When my own a Opthalmologist came back to check the stitches were so embedded that they can’t be removed. This last experience has me seething. I had radiation treatment on a tumour in my eye socket last January 2023. I started to notice vision loss. This Dr put out min effirt, wrongfully diagnosed me with a weak blood vessel; no Cat scan and no MRI. It’s four weeks later, I’ve lost the vision in my right eye and currently accessing the hyperbaric chamber at Foothills Hospital, for radiation damage. This damage is a known side effect of the radiation treatment last January, and is a medical emergency. Thankfully a far better doctor responded appropriately and is helping me in hopes this damage isn’t permanent. I would NEVER recommend or see this doctor ever again. I’d drive to Rocky View hospital before ever seeing him again.
