Touchmark At Wedgewood

No manager. New director. Lack of communication re: policies/procedures/report amongst staff perhaps due to lack of management and/or short staffing. Physician/NP care also needs oversight. Private owners are apparently going to disrupt the grounds to add more facilities. Unable to recommend this facility at this time.

I worked there. I'm now retired and would never reside there after the way I was treated. I have deterred others from living there and will continue to do so as long as I draw breath.

Worst of the worst in long term care. Unethical dishonest business practices. Staff bullied by management to cover up illegal staffing ratios , medical mistakes, and inaccurate nursing assessments. Abusive . Completely ill equipped to palliate even a dog properly let alone a human being. A 25 yr old arrogant inexperienced pompous psych nurse designated as health service director. Nepotism at its very worst. Most dangerous place on earth for anyone unable to communicate their needs or defend themselves. No oversight. A money making machine. AHS should shutdown the 64 LTC beds they occupy immediately. Criminal conduct .

I can't say enough about the staff at Touchmark in Wedgewood. I feel they truly care for my father. My father has recently moved from another residence and the change is astonishing. The people are friendly! And courteous! And respectful! I can't tell you the difference it has made in my dad's life. The other places talk the talk but Touchmark definitely walks the walk. I'm embarrassed to say I let him live at another residence for several years not understanding how much better it really can and should be! Our seniors are our treasures and Touchmark treats them accordingly. Thank you Touchmark!
