Rockyview Hospital | Eye Clinic - Ophthalmology Clinic

Ended up in Emergency, at 2am. On August 28th/2024. Was in very bad condition. My blood pressure was HIGH. My eyes were swollen , & glued almost shut . I had Conjunctiviis , both eyes, Blepharitis, & Hypertension. DR. Killam & team in the unit took care of me . I was asked to meet with( Urgent ) with PETER T,S, HUANG, MD. The Clinic did more eye tests & I also have Glacoma in my R eye . I have been waiting since June / 2021 for eye surgery .I went to Orbit Eye Centre for 3 years , only to keep going to appointments . Last time I went March 29/2024 , I was refered across the street to another Optolmologist. My appointment is Sept.6 / 2024 . Meanwhile , I keep having these issues with my eyes. Why is it that I wait 3 1/2 years & no surgery , while people I meet tell me how theirs were done with in , 2 weeks .Or my tax lady , her Mom was done right awy. I am beyond frustrated, & scared I'll Go blind ! Or have a Stroke or a Heart Attack . The Rockyview is the best place to go .I'm being attended to , & I hope for surgery soon . 😀 Do Not EVER go to ORBIT EYE CENTRE - read all the reviews on Google first . When I posted the truth , it was removed The Dr. That convinced me to go there ., said he was busy& therefore No Surgery for Patti. He has many degrees on his wall , but is too busy with Cosmetic procedures for Paying Customers. I guess , my eyes are not his concern. I will stick with Rockyview hospital , as I know they very much care & my family have been going to this hospital since I was a young child. ( I'm now 65 . Never again will I trust a private Clinic ! Either specialize in Optomologest Care or do the Cosmetic Surgery & make lots of money off conceited rich people instead ! No Clinic should do both services! This is Not the USA. Eye problems are serious , cosmetic procedures are low on the scale ! ( I'm a licenced Beautician since 1978, so I know all about Cosmetics. PLEASE doctors at RVH , get me in before I go Blind . MS.
