Very un educated nurse doesn’t know what she’s doing what she’s talking about and also is very late on doing anything doesn’t look over paper work and neglects patients. Find a real doctor before ever going to her. Save ur time and wait for someone that is actually going to care for you and your well-being!

Absolutely unhelpful. Always late. Will not consider your requests unless she is comfortable. Cancels appointments and it take up to 6 weeks to get into see her. Needed paperwork done for a tax audit and she has had them since Spring... it's almost November and it still isn't done. I'd complain to the College, but it's not like they will do anything. Her secretary is nice, but frazzled.

Always polite with me, and helpful when i have a issue at hand. Staff and pharmacy are great and quick with prescriptions and helpful.

Completely agree with those two comments, I do not know if it is Laura or her front desk lady that can not help you at all. I needed some documents for school and left them there a month before the due day. I was calling that lady every week to check if they were done and she had always an excuse. The due day passed and I had to call the college asking for an extension then when she finally went through my documents I needed several tests to get done and her secretary was literally blaming me because " I should read the forms" hellooooo I am not a doctor I do not know all that stuff. Thats why I letf them over there with enough time. Well at the end the lady said " ohh she can not do it now because she is going on vacation " REALLY" I got them done in a walking clinic in a week. Not happy at all with her stuff. I understand doctors are busy, but this was unbelievable.

To say that this woman is lazy, unmotivated, incompetent and down right unfit to provide medical care to ANYONE is an understatement. If you are going to do a job, than DO IT. Don’t posture and pretend to fulfill what patients ask of you, and then completely drop the ball. The people who come to you are often in a vulnerable place and require understanding and reassurance, not guilt for needing valuable information and FOR that reassurance. I wouldn’t trust her to competently treat a scrapped knee, never mind something more urgent.

I can tell you with complete certainty that these 5 star reviews are fake. This website unfortunately does not do a good job of monitoring fake reviews. She is always late... way beyond the time of the appointment she gives you, she rarely ever belives what you are telling her about your symptoms and does not take into account anything you have don research on. She is incompetent and its taken over a year for me to get a referral from her that should have only taken a couple of months. Dont waste your time, find yourself a competent family doctor, not an inexperienced, lacking in knowledge nurse practitioner.

My wife and I are patients of Dr Laura dawn. She cares about how we feel and listens to us before acting. After dealing with a family doctor for 45 years of my life, moving to St Catharines and searching for a Doctor or NP, finding Dr Laura Dawn was one of the best things we have done since moving here. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a compassionate care giver.
