Over the last 2 1/2 years Dr. W. Govender has shown professional, sincere and
caring service after a serious accident left me with ongoing change in my ADL.
He listens, asks pertinent questions and follows through with any treatment.
I highly recommend him. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at the clinic.

A truly wonderful and knowledgeable family doctor. We are so lucky to have Dr. Govender as our GP. He is so thorough, knows when to make a specialist referral (with NO ego) and is just a lovely doctor with great bedside manner. He was wonderful through our fertility journey, pregnancy and is now providing wonderful care for our son.

Very horrible an didnt care about my sons mental health. Always seemed rushed to push him out the door.!!! He was seeing my son who was depressed put him on bunch of mental health meds. Did not check on him regularly to see how he was feeling an he took his life in July 2018.

Totally rude doctor who spoke to me in a very dismissive and awful way about a long-standing health issue, he refused to give me a refill on a prescription I have taken for years and announced that I should be coming off of it anyways, having only spoken to me the one time on the phone! (It is not a dangerous or narcotic drug and I have no side effects and no problems with it.) Also informed me that I should not be using a walk-in clinic when I have a regular family doc - something that I know is not true, and did not bother asking why I dont go to my regular GP, who is often away and practices in an inconvenient location for me. Just rude, dismissive and totally arrogant!

Dr. Govender was incredible during my phone and in-person appointments with him. My regular GP waves off any concerns I have. Luckily that GP was away so I met with Dr Govender instead and he had a great bedside manner, as it were. So much so that I've asked the clinic to switch me to Dr Govender instead.

This was one of the best walk-in clinic experience that I have ever had. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even fun to talk with. There was almost no wait, and then a Dr. Assistant did a quick preliminary to get weight, height, blood pressure, allergies and medical concerns for the chart, and to give the Dr. more time to tend to patients vs. a lot of prelim and paperwork. Dr. Govender was professional and prudent, very friendly, and asked about other issues and even wrote up a lab request (not normal practice for casual walk-in). He treated me like a person but was also efficient and didn't waste time. It was my impression, though, that he'd spend as long as necessary with a patient. The clinic is extremely nice, very comfortable, seems to be a collaborative atmosphere between the staff, but each dr. manages their own patients (and are taking new ones) as well as giving great service to walk-ins. High Recommend.

I haven't experienced such a good Dr in many years. Plus his office and staff are on top of things. If I had to wait more than 5 min in exam room he apologizes for taking so long. I've been sick for months and he has taken me serious and not become impatient with my many visits and ran numerous tests to find a solution. He is warm friendly patient and has never made me feel like I'm just a fussy old woman. And has never said to me as one Dr did that it's just a woman's problem. Learn to live with it. Can't say enough good about Dr Govender
