Biography
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:My interest in medicine began at a young age and continued through school combining my love of science and of helping others to be healthy and feel their best. I love to care for both children and adults. Family medicine allows me to care for a wide spectrum of patients not only as individuals but also to see their personal and health ties within their families. What I want my patients to know about me:I am committed to providing my patients with excellent, personalized healthcare. I pride myself on knowing my patients well and trying to tailor their health care based on their personal goals and beliefs as well as evidence-based medicine. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When I am not at work, I am spending time with my husband and three children, as well my extended family. I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, outdoor activities and travel.

I went to Seydel for many, many years. I ended up finding a new doctor due to her putting me on too high of a dose of water pills which caused my potassium to drop to near death if I ignored my symptoms any longer than what I did. (I did not know what was causing how I felt or what it was that was wrong until I was rushed to Memorial Hospital ER)
