I am so disappointed in my appointment with Dr. Balass. I went to see her for skin concerns and only realized afterwards that she is not a dermatologist... despite working at a dermatology clinic. I feel cheated, it is very misleading. She evidently did not have the level of knowledge required.

I saw Dr Ballas for eczema. I knew her before when she treated rosea at my face a year ago. She is amazing. She used to work at a different clinic at the time and when I had a problem I decided to follow her to MunkMD. Very polite staff, no waiting time, Dr Ballas as always very helpful. She also advised me with my other health problems. She takes time to listen and explain. Thank you!

Be careful- All smiles and sweet-like.... says she treats skin diseases but she is not a dermatologist... saw her for red spots that we're in fact much more serious then she thought.
maybe a good family doctor, no idea, but maybe she should keep it at what she studied for. ...

Je l'ai rencontrée à la clinique Musk. Une consultation pour des grains de beauté...superbe rencontre et très à l'écoute...une biopsie a été faite et elle a pris tout le temps de bien expliquer!!

I saw Dr Balass in family practice for chronic pain. She told me nothing was wrong and I should just learn to accept my pain and move on with my life. I left the office feeling hopeless. A few weeks later I saw another doctor for a second opinion and was diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis. Happy to report I have received effective treatment and no longer live with chronic pain, but had I listened to Dr Balass I’d still be suffering unnecessarily.

Saw her a few months ago, Sent my mole sample for Biopsy ( Oncologist that operated me mentioned she should have taken the sample cut in the center of the mole and not on the edges to see the depth) She was very friendly, The biopsy results took almost 8 weeks and I had to follow up every so often with a High price to send for a biopsy. I would say 4 Star.I had asked her to refer me to a private clinic with a colleague in another province if she knew any and she said she would get back to me but never did.She is still helpful.
