Beware of this dentist. He will administer the freezing directly into the nerve so that he doesn't have to wait for it to take effect. (every other dentist I've ever seen injects CLOSE to the nerve, and then leaves the room for a few minutes in order for the freezing to take effect) Not Pin Gill. I had two cracked molars that required multiple visits in quick succession, and each needle caused severe pain in the tip of my tongue. It felt as though the tip of my tongue was being slashed with a scalpel. After the third time I was terrified for the fourth visit and asked what was going on....this had never happened to me before. As a mature woman I've had lots of dental work over the years. Dr Gill explained that it was because he was hitting the nerve directly, but that he could put a note in my file to remind himself not to do that to me again. Rather he should inject close to the nerve...and wait for the freezing to take effect. I can only assume Dr Gill did this to me out of extreme arrogance. His time was more important than my pain. In addition, he was working part-time at the clinic I go to, and had a practice elsewhere, and he subsequently gave up his part-time position at Clover Hills. He knew he'd probably never see me again. Come to think of it, maybe he didn't give up his part-time position; maybe he was asked to leave?
