Not sure why she still practices medicine as a GP when she has not been available for in person visits for 4 years! She only does consults by phone but that takes days to occur. She will either be late calling you or won't call at all. This results in longer wait times just to get simple requisition, referral or review of lab results from her. The health care system in Ontario is failing and a doctor like her only contributes to the pain and suffering for us tax payers who only want simple medical care! She should find another occupation and anyone looking for an available, caring, competent family doctor please look elsewhere.

My mother always needs requisitions that she never gets even after contacting her and the office multiple times. She does not seem to care about her profession and only cares for building her family as she goes on maternity leave often. Perhaps she should make family her sole priority and not keep patients that she can’t even give 30% of her time to.

Dr. Shah is okay, she's always late though, and the staff at 9000 Weston Road are abysmal. Truly awful argumentative people who are prone to mistakes. Dr. Shah spends her time with patients chatting about personal endeavors, weekend plans, university careers, television shows etc. It's no wonder she's always late.

Dr. Payal Shah is a very good doctor caring and so knowledgable but unfortunately the office staff is really bad. They mix up appointments and at the last minute an office appointment was changed to a phone appointment I waited all day at home for the doctor to call only to discover they didn't let the Doctor know to call me or they gave the wrong number. I waited 2 weeks for that appointment . I needed prescriptions and I needed to know the results of my tests. When I called the office at 3:00 pm ( office suppose to still be open) to find out what was going on nobody answered everyone was gone. Its scary to think that a medical office could be so badly run especially when it is dealing peoples health issues.

After 25 years with the same doctor, the transition was real. So happy to find a new doctor that actually spends time with you regarding your health, instead of rushing you out so they can take the next patient. Quality over Quantity - Anytime!
